Side Effects Of Splenda And Sweet 'n Low

Using Video SLR

Use a camera to shoot video is a trend that is gaining ground recently. Actually use a DSLR to do video that has its benefits are certainly not to be underestimated.

First I state that, in my opinion, a camera is a camera makes photos and video. At the moment so I'm still skeptical in saying "I take a camera to do video." But let a moment to analyze the reasons why we have this interesting new solution to shooting video.

I think for many the most valuable benefit is the money. In fact, these cameras (which record in full HD and also with a framerate of 60fps) have sensors larger than any similarly priced camera with a light and noise, which we watch from afar. The second advantage lies in the objectives (interchangeable), the depth of field is much narrower, and then you create a look more "film". Perhaps these are sufficient conditions for a purchase of an SLR to do videos, but need to evaluate and ask one other thing: I do the video thing? If the answer is: documentaries, short films, corporate videos and promotional videos could also agree made to use a DSLR. The use of these should preferably always be accompanied by a "real" camera. If you want to do with the filming set is not tested (see weddings or sporting events, etc.) I do not think it's a good solution for several reasons. First, they have a DSLR autofocus (in some there is only one manual) that can not certainly be the height of a video recording. The ergonomics is not the best and the inability to direct the screen (with the exception made for some, see Canon 60D) limits its potential. In addition, you should always take pictures with slow movements and not too jerky that may help you get the video rolling shutter (in short, distort the image). Not to mention that they are just micro microphones ... .. luckily there's the entry MiniJack 3.5 mm from the ability to connect external mic.

Ultimately I think I'll get an SLR for the filming of some projects (plus I also need to take pictures:-P), see Video Tours and shorts, but always alongside my beloved Canon HFS100.

that 2011 bring many many new videos and joy to you all.

Matthew
